Betty INSIGHTS Live: How Associations Turn AI Conversations Into Action

Associations everywhere are asking how to turn conversations about AI into real impact. At Betty AI, our customer community is proving it’s possible. Through Betty Insights Live: Client Roundtables, association leaders are sharing strategies, solving challenges, and turning ideas into measurable outcomes.

One of the most rewarding parts of my time at Betty AI has been watching the Betty customer community grow and evolve. It’s more than just seeing new features or use cases emerge — it’s witnessing how our customers connect with one another, share openly, and build on each other’s ideas.

Where the Betty Community Began

I first saw that sense of connection at the Salute to Excellence event — a celebration where our team joined to support our customers and association professionals. During that gathering, I watched as our customers, unprompted, began sharing their journeys with their Bettys. They talked openly about their challenges, their successes, and their aspirations, while taking turns actively listening, learning, and supporting one another. That moment planted the seed for what has now become our Betty Insights Live: Client Roundtables — a way to carry those conversations forward.

From Conversations to Action

Fast forward to today, and we’ve now hosted three INSIGHTS Live events, each drawing over 60 attendees eager to learn from their peers. In our most recent session with Marc Abla, leaders shared practical ways they're putting their AI assistant into action:

  • Tiered deployments: From public Q&A to members-only access.

  • Workflow integration: embedding Betty into compliance platforms and LMS systems.

  • Content hubs: letting members choose format and tone before their AI assistant generates content.

  • Campaigns: running “question of the month” features in newsletters to build trust and spark new use cases for their AI assistants.

Why This Matters for Associations

What stood out most to me was how quickly these conversations are moving into action. Associations aren’t just imagining what’s possible — they’re doing it. They’re connecting their AI assistant's  engagement with renewals and product usage through analytics, experimenting with staff-only Bettys to speed up knowledge sharing, and finding creative ways to drive adoption even in industries where certification isn’t the motivator. Each time I hear these stories, I’m reminded that this community doesn’t just talk about innovation; they put it into practice.

Looking ahead, I see even more momentum building. Each Insights Live builds on the one before it, and I can already imagine the next three sessions unlocking new campaigns, fresh ways to integrate Betty into daily work, and more opportunities for both staff and members to experience her value in action.

One of the highlights of my role at Betty AI is helping customers turn conversations like these into action — taking just a spark of an idea and shaping it into a meaningful opportunity for their unique communities.

This community is a reflection of the curiosity, creativity, and collaboration that define our customers, and I feel lucky to be part of it.

(Coming soon: I’ll share a few reflections from my first year at Betty AI — but the real story is this community, and what you all continue to build and grow)
