Every few weeks, we roll out improvements designed to make managing your Betty and understanding your members simpler, faster, and more powerful. This month’s updates focus on three key areas: INSIGHTS Portal, Training and Content, and the Betty widget, along with behind-the-scenes updates that improve performance and control.

Conversation-Based AI Analytics (Coming Soon)
A new Insights feature allows you to ask questions like “What are users asking about most?” using AI trained on your conversation history. This is currently in early rollout.
Add, Edit, and Manage Content Yourself
You can now upload files, link webpages, or manually add text content directly in the INSIGHTS portal. Each item goes through the same quality assurance steps before Betty uses it.
Bulk Content Uploads via CSV
You can upload a full spreadsheet of content items at once. A downloadable template will be added to the upload page soon.
Editing or Removing Content
You can now update content titles, links, or text directly. Deleting content will be available shortly once rollout is complete.
Sync Mode (Beta)
Sync Mode automatically removes content from Betty’s knowledge base if it no longer exists in the original source. Use this only occasionally (weekly to monthly) and only after talking with the Betty team.
Improved Conversation History Display
Upload a Document Within a Conversation
Users can upload a file during a chat, and Betty will use both the file and your existing knowledge base to answer. This is great for staff or member-only use and is currently available by request.
Personalized User Context
You can now pass membership or user-specific information to the widget when it loads, allowing Betty to personalize answers without needing a direct AMS integration.
More Control Over AI Providers
Organizations now have more control over the models and third-party AI providers their Betty uses. This gives you more flexibility based on your privacy policies, contracts, or internal preferences.
New AI Provider Support for Faster Performance
We added support for new providers as part of our focus on drastically improving response times and creating room for more capabilities behind the scenes. More details will be shared soon, after fully vetting these options and before we make any changes for existing customers.
Betty:DIRECTORY Improvements
Work continues on stabilizing and improving the Betty:DIRECTORY offering to support organizations using multiple assistants, departments, or segmented access.
