What does an AI knowledge system for an association cost? ▼

Betty starts at $12,500 a year for Betty.Core and $18,750 a year for Betty.Pro. Price is set by your association's annual revenue. There is no per seat, per member or per question charge, so the number does not move when your members use it.

 

What determines my pricing tier? ▼

Your association's annual revenue. We use the figure from your most recent published financials or IRS Form 990, and we confirm the band with you before anything is quoted. A larger association gets more value from Betty and can fund more of it, so the price follows size rather than headcount.

What is the difference between Betty.Core and Betty.Pro? ▼

Betty.Core answers user questions from your approved content with a citation every time. Betty.Core includes four audiences (public, member, guest, and staff) and two defined jobs for Betty to do (your choice). Betty.Pro adds features and skills, such as realtime voice, learning from audio and video natively, documents and study guides your members can take away, skills your team can build, and unlimited audiences. Both plans are grounded in your content only.

Is there an onboarding fee? ▼

> Yes. The fee is 30 percent of your subscription, starting at $5,625 for Betty.Pro and $3,750 for Betty.Core. It is charged once, in year one only, and it does not escalate. It covers the Betty Onboarding System, the same five steps every time: Ideation, Connection, Infusion, Calibration and Launch. We map the jobs Betty will do, train her on your content, coach her to your standard through feedback cycles, and launch her with a marketing kit and a 30-day review built in.

How much of my team’s time does onboarding take? ▼

About 15 to 20 hours in total, spread across the whole process. Most of it comes early, when your team helps us map the jobs Betty will do and gathers the content she’ll learn from. The technical work of processing and indexing your content is almost entirely on our side, and calibration takes about 20 minutes of your time per feedback cycle.

Do I need my own AI model account? ▼

Yes. Every new Betty customer brings their own model account key, on both plans. Your model contract, your region, your spend visible to you, your existing credits usable, and no margin taken by us on what your members ask. It is one setup step at the start of onboarding and we walk you through it.

How does Betty compare to paying per conversation or per credit? ▼

Betty is a flat annual subscription. Many AI platforms sold to associations are metered instead, billing per conversation, per action or per credit, often with extra charges to ground an answer in your own content and per-minute charges for voice. That means your bill goes up as your members use it more. With Betty, 1,000 questions or 100,000 cost the same, and the subscription is the only thing we earn on. Bring your member volume to the call and we will compare the two with you.

Can I upgrade from Betty.Core to Betty.Pro? ▼

Yes, at any point. Your revenue band stays the same and we prorate the difference for the rest of your term. Nothing is rebuilt and nothing is migrated, because Core and Pro are the same Betty with different capability switched on.

Do you offer month-to-month plans? ▼

No. Every plan carries a 12-month minimum. Year-over-year escalation is 5% on a 12-month term, 4% on 24 months and 3% on 36 months, so a longer commitment lowers your increase.
