This summer, 12 associations in three countries launched AI assistants powered by Betty. They cover compressed gas safety standards, pharmaceutical engineering, South Carolina town halls and Australia's resources sector.

The technology matters less than what it unlocks. A session recording becomes an answer to today's question. A sample policy library becomes a tool members use every week. And staff can spend their time on the work that needs them.

## Credentialing and certification

**Launched:** An open-access assistant on credentialingexcellence.org, trained on I.C.E.'s website, the *Credentialing Insights* blog, its community platform and its product pages.

**Impact:** Credentialing professionals can get accreditation answers at any hour, whether they're comparing NCCA and ACAP or preparing a renewal. I.C.E. staff can send routine accreditation and membership questions to Excella and focus on the program-specific conversations that need an expert. Years of research and white papers become a guide that's always available.

### [The International Electrical Testing Association (NETA)](https://www.netaworld.org) | Exam writing assistant

**Launched:** An internal assistant that helps NETA staff develop exam questions.

**Impact:** Exam development moves faster, and subject matter experts can spend their time reviewing and refining questions instead of starting from a blank page. NETA's existing technical knowledge becomes the foundation for its next certification exams.

When the best answer is in a Guidance Document they don't have yet, Lumen shows them where to get it.

**Impact:** Engineers and safety professionals can describe their gas-handling scenario in plain language and get pointed to the right CGA standard. A deep publications catalog becomes much easier to navigate, and the right publication reaches the right member. CGA staff can spend less time answering "which standard covers this?" and more on standards work.

Municipal Association staff can send everyday directory and event questions to SCottie. Years of handbooks and *Risk Letter* articles become working tools for the next council meeting.
